The 18^th Dynasty in ancient Egypt:

In the height of the conquest to expand the great Egyptian empire a dangerous mix of religion and politics erupts. The priests seek to seize power and actively plot against Nefertiti. 

Nefertiti gathers her enemy's close - and her friends closer - as the struggle for survival forces her to consider the deepest meanings of life.

But  conflict brings profound changes in all who seek the ultimate power.
