HOMEWARD WOOD. (SCREENPLAY) Tag line: A
star crossed lover make a pact that she will die so that her partner can have a
perfect life with a perfect girl - But things move faster than she expected –
and few expected a new World War.
This is a Tristan love story spanning a period of 18 years. It is interwoven with an Orpheus story looking at the world in the future after a war between China and USA / Russia caused by diminishing Earth resources. It is a modern “Gone with the Wind” style film. It includes some mildly sexy scenes, the film having been written with a “12 Certificate” in mind. It is a ‘Gone With The Wind’ type of film where a girl’s love persists for an old flame who can never be hers.
SYNOPSIS. A husband secretly plans to make the ultimate sacrifice for his wife after a spirit briefly appears to him. But while on holiday he gets mixed up with an assassination plot and dies. After
a short grieving period his widow starts to look around for a new partner. She
joins a dating agency and is soon looking at lists and videos of hundreds of
men. She writes to some. But a young man from Russia appears like a phoenix. As
she works for a government office collecting data on the testing of nuclear
weapons she has some problems getting permission to visit him, but is finally
able to visit Russia for a long weekend. The story of their struggle against red
tape to live in the West and how their relationship develops is intriguing. They emigrate to Spain prior to a war. Their daughter grows up in Spain following the war. She moves into the heights of European Politics. One
the way they have many adventures and there are references to Black Magic which
