COMEDY

Although most comedy shows run for ten episodes initially (If the pilot episode is well received), often only the first (pilot) show is written to see if it can be sold as an idea before the other nine are written.  However, we would still need the ideas and outlines for the other nine to start with!

Writing good Comedy is the most difficult writing of all to do well. It is said that any one time there are only 6 or 7 great Comedy writers alive and actively writing.

While this may or not be true, it is certainly the hardest writing form of all. if you want to write Comedy however do give it a try for there is nothing more rewarding than to make people laugh.
